Ed’s Diner – London
It has been nearly a year since I moved to London. One year ago today I was in London for a week, to check things out, to have some first job interviews and to look for a more permanent place to live. After that week I shortly went back to Denmark and from there I took the one way ticket to London. I am glad I wrote it all down, I wouldn’t have remembered half of it otherwise. And looking back, even with my eyes closed, a lot has happened.
My very first visit to The Cafe
Indeed a lot has happened, but I am not there yet. Where is there? I don’t really know exactly, but I will let you know when I do. Even though I am doing the screen writing course on Uni, I am still not sure what direction I want to go. I am very sure what I don’t want, and I need to keep that in mind, to not slowly fall asleep again here as well. One thing I do know – London is the right place to live for me.
Latest trip update:
Still waiting for my visas (that’s planned). Received my London-Moscow plaintickets, which are the only paper tickets I will have. I don’t need any vaccinations. I know the exchange rates for the Russian Rubbel and the Chinese Yuan. And I read about the Moscow underground and how impossible it is to read everything in Russian.
This weekend I sat down for a while thinking about what it actually is I am going to do, and it scares the willies out of me.
I’ll do my dreaming with my eyes wide open …
