I swear. True, and I am quite sure, ever lasting love.
From the moment I decided I wanted him, truly and utterly wanted him, until the moment where he actually sat down on my lap, I guess only a few hours went. I met him, had a very brief talk with him and that was enough. He swept me off my feet. Completely. I invited him to join me on my cafe visit. We have spend all afternoon together and pages full of script were written without any effort.
He is gorgeous beyond belief. Impeccably dressed, slick, lanky, simply so beautiful. He is the man of my dreams. I didn’t know that I was looking for love until I found him.
And he is very intelligent too and so easy to talk to, he only needs half a word and he understands what I want. Very fast.
He wanted me to give him a name. That was a no-brainer – Billy, of course, I said to him. Billy. Mac(k).
I am sure we will go on adventures together, train travelling, spending time in cafes drinking tea and do a lot of writing.
Love. At first sight. What took me so long.
I’ll let you know how it is to switch from a Vicious Vista PC to a Mac OSX Beauty. I haven’t run into any problems yet, everything seems intuitive and easy to find. Mind you I had never ever worked on a Mack before. I installed Final Draft on it, and that went without any problems. And the fact that it is small and beautiful and easily fits into my bag will probably mean that we will become inseparable. In fact, I think we already are.
Just the fact that it takes about 5 seconds for it to start up (Vista takes about 5 years on my fairly new laptop) blows me away. And it being a Mack, all those super groovy features is has, and just the beauty of the machine itself, it was worth every penny. I really do understand Mac-o-holics now, once you are used to this you never want to go back. This is indeed, how a laptop is supposed to be. I am sure I will run into some problems too but until now, it’s looking good.
How could it not be – check those legs!
